Better Than Waxing. I've preferred threading to waxing for a very long time, and upon moving to DC a few years ago, I was thrilled to find out that I wouldn't have to track down some Indian auntie all the way in Leesburg who'll do it in her living room for $5, which is what you would normally do in a more suburban area. Dupont Threading is conveniently located about a block from the Dupont Circle metro. I only go to these folks, who'll get the job done in less than 7 minutes (depending on how unruly they've gotten). They always do an excellent, clean job and my brows have always looked perfectly shaped, streamlined and arched after. I rarely use a tweezer on them anymore, as I'll only trust my brows to Dupont Threading. If you make an appointment, you'll be able to bypass the wait you'll almost always get since everyone else (girls AND guys) know to come here. I've never had to wait longer than around 10 to 15 minutes, however, so I often just swing by after work don't even bother to schedule ahead. They're unfortunately closed on Sundays and Mondays, so you do have to keep that in mind if you plan to just swing by unscheduled.
