Posh European Lounge in Dupont. While meeting up with a friend in Dupont we were interested in trying a new area bar where we could try a few new specialty cocktails. At the time they were featuring their Cherry Blossom cocktail which my friend immediately ordered. The European vstyled menu offers mushrooms, greek burgers, fish and chips, potato pancakes and much more.

Wondering what One Lounge's atmosphere is like? White curtains separate the rooms, where the main lounge area offers hard wood floors, low lighting, lots of couches and modern art lining the walls.

After sharing a platter of curry fries (to-die for) and a glass of wine, I was surprised to see our bill was under $20. The upscale European lounge had an amazing happy hour with some of the best deals in the area. During their 5:30 - 7 Happy Hour enjoy $7 martinis, $3/$4 beers, and $5 glasses of wine.

A great haunt for an evening in the northwest. One Lounge offers a little something for everyone. The lounge manages to pull off a cozy, laid back, sophistication while maintaining a lively energy. yet an oddly homey feel.

And that's kind of what the layout reminds me of - dim lighting, wood floors, low tables line the walls where people can hover to sit and chat. There is a central bar in the middle of the main floor that is lively, with a flat screen television propped up for those sports fans that want to check out game highlights. There are also additional nooks to sit and order bottle service as well.
