Don't Shop Here. I traded in a solitaire diamond ring and purchased a new diamond and wedding ring set. The man working that day (Terry) is the son of the owner and offerred a cost for both my ring and theirs. I agreed, and was told that he woud call within a week to allow for the store to set the stone. Not 30 minutes after I left, receipt in hand, did he call asking me to ome back. After Terry talked to his mother, he learned that he gave me too low of a price for their ring and too high of a price for the trade in. He then informed me that my options were to 1) nullify the transaction and get a full refund, 2) pick out a smaller diamond or 3) the store would keep the ring and I would not get anything at all. WANT QUALITY - DON'T SHOP AT THIS STORE. On January 8, 2012, I purchased a set of 14K ziconia studs from the Pentagon City location. The stone fell out as I was placing the earring in my ear. The quality of the "14K" gold was so poor, each of the prongs bent when trying to place the stone in position.

On January 10, 2012 I returned to the store for a refund and was told by the manager that I broke the earring -- no refund, no exchange. She offered to repair it which I refused. I reiterated that I never had the opportunity to wear the earrings. The issue was the quality; repairing it would be a temporary fix.

The manager referenced, as well as showed my niece and I, the stack of repair requests this particular store previously received -- this did not appease me.

I am appauled that the manager would suggest I broke the earring versus taking responsibility for selling what clearly is not 14K gold.
