Always A Warm Welcome. Davia and Anna provided a facial and massage respectively and they were both excellent; providing a warm welcome, a caring service, and a professional job. They certainly know their business and their performance speaks to that.

never disappoint. I am, as always, thrilled with my cut. I've been getting my hair cut - and occupationally colored - here for almost 20 years, and the consistent quality, professionalism and warmth of this institution never disappoint.

I will definitely be going back. I visited Salon Roi after finding them on this site and I'm thrilled I discovered them! They were able to fit me in for a cut that day and my stylist was fantastic. She talked me through what I wanted, we looked at a photo and she offered modifications of the style. Roi, the owner, was styling a client next to us and offered compliments of both my hair and of the cut. He was working on a woman who's known him for 35+ years and I discovered that Salon Roi had been in that spot since the late '60s.The salon itself was very comfy - it seemed small but has has a few floors and each seems pretty compartmentalized. I will definitely be going back for my hair and intend to book nail and facial appointments very soon.

I left without the pain I walked in with.. I have had massages from Europe to South Africa and have never been so relaxed and healed at the same time. The massage is healing more than my Physical Therapist has done for me.I left without the pain I walked in with. The relief was immediate and amazing.

The best cut I've had in a long time.. I was in desparate need of a haircut just out of the Metro in AM, so I called Salon Roi just to see if they happened to have any availability at 5PM on a Friday. Since I was literally right outside, they were extremely friendly and said to just come right up. I was handed over to Blanca who greeted me as soon as I reached the receptionist, and took me back to her chair.

I get a simple cut, 2 on the sides, faded up, real short on the top, messy/spiked in the front, yet somehow, the last 3 places I tried in DC/Bethesda (just moved here in April), were extremely sub-par considering the $$. As such, I was hesitant to drop another 50 bucks only to wish I had just gone to SuperCuts, but I figured let's give it a shot. Blanca definitely made me glad I came in. She was extremely friendly, has worked there for years (I won't say how many), and gave me the best cut I've had in a long time.

Great atmosphere. I've been going to Salon Roi for many years. I lived in the area when I first started going there, but over the years I've been known to commute over an hour to get my hair cut. I find the atmosphere very cosmopolitan, the staff very professional and fun...and the services offered terrific. I've tried to go to other salons--closer to home perhaps, but always...always end up back at Roi's. I'm so thrilled they take me back with no questions asked! : )

Alicia is a real pro. Alicia did my wax and was so thorough, I couldn't be more pleased. I can't tell you how many times I've had an aesthetician rip off a few strips of wax and tell you to meet her up front for her money. Alicia took her time, made sure I was comfortable, and went back through to tweeze anything that was too short for the wax to get.
