ThreadingIf you are using Accutane, Retin-A, Differin, Renova, blood thinners, Alpha hydroxy products or have high anti-biotic use, you may not be a good candidate for a waxing service.Anyone who is using a topical oral medication that results in dry or thinned skin is a perfect Candidate for Threading.Threading is a practice of shaping the eyebrows using a thread.It’s very gentle and sanitary method of hair removal.Originating in India and the Middle East, your specialist winds a cotton thread that will twist and pull out a single, group, or ingrown hair.Threading lasts just as long as waxing and does not pull the skin, which helps prevent immature sagging or wrinkling.

WaxingWhen you make an appointment for a body waxing service, please make sure you have an inch of growth (generally speaking 2-3 weeks of growth) by the date of the appointment.This will ensure a successful service.For Bikini Waxing: Hair should not be longer than an inch.This will ensure a more comfortable service.One or two days before the scheduled appointment, you should exfoliate the area that hair will be removed.The day of the appointment you should avoid using a moisturizer.Be sure not to tan 24-48 hours before hair removal as it increases sensitivity.Certain physical conditions such as diabetes, pregnancy and a pre-disposition to cold sores may also cause heightened sensitivity to the skin.Pregnant women may experience sensitivity during the Brazilian waxing procedure which can result in bleeding or contusions.Circe does not recommend Brazilian waxing during pregnancy.
