Terrible experience. I ate here with a friend. The food was decent, and it is a pretty room. For DC, this is an upper-end of the spectrum restaurant. Sadly, I was so absorbed in conversation with my friend I signed the receipt without noticing that I had been charged an extra $250 for a bottle of wine we had never ordered. Always delightful cuisine!. This is my favorite restaurant. Others may come and go, hot or not, but this establishment is tried and true, always steady and excellent. You can count on Taberna Del Alabardero for outstanding food and impeccable service. I have taken family, friends, and even a boss to this restaurant and never have I been disappointed.
